New Watch

So it turns out that a huge part of being a teacher is time management. Who knew? Well, I guess a lot of people knew. I guess I might have been one of the few people who had not thought of that. It also turns out that having and wearing watches is becoming a thing of the past. As everyone is now wearing/carrying a cell phone, men have abandoned the watch, left it waste away in antiquity. I will not. Every man should always have a watch. This is my new watch, and my first shot at some product work. I think its pretty neato.

Huevos Rancheros

I made these today for my father, brother and I. Corn tortillas, fresh hot salsa, onions and cilantro, a dash of kosher salt and fresh ground pepper. They were good. We ate them all.

Coffee is Important... so important

I spent the last weekend at Winter Camp with the High Schoolers from church, and made sure to bring my coffee press. Cody brought the coffee (thanks Cody), and this is the result. Morning Heaven.

Basil is Delicious

I spent the last weekend in a cabin near Big Bear mt. basiacally cooking and eating and being merry. I met a number of new friends, and reconnected with some old ones. And I made the best soup I have ever tasted in my life. It was a tomato basil bisque, and this is the basil that I used. It was yumm.

Merry Christmas

Considering that I love Christmas, and lack funds for proper Christmas gift giving I decided to use my photography, and stuff around my house to make some pretty nifty Christmas cards. This is the image that I used. I like it.

Young Curtis

Babies are cute, especially young Brandon Curtis here. His father fed me, I took his picture, and then we watched Phineus and Furb, or however you spell the best childrens cartoon since Anamaniacs.
